Here’s a very simple and low-stress fundraiser.
- Just grab a tea bag from your cupboard
- No cookies to sell, buy, or consume
- No arm twisting of co-workers
- No ringing doorbells
- No wrapping paper or gift cards
- No popcorn or candy bars
- No magazines, raffle tickets, or silent auction
- No rounding up business sponsorships
Just BOIL water!
Add the tea, sit down, relax, enjoy, and consider your blessings.
While doing so, please think about the child in the photo. The picture shows 5-year-old Kelsey seeing
a picture book for the first time! Of course, there are many more in Haiti with similar needs. Just drink the tea, count your blessings, and contemplate the MANY needs in Haiti. These include:
• Playground for the new preschool (a project for our volunteers in 2018!)
• Annual individual sponsorships for tuition and books ($225)
• Supplement for the school food program-need $5000.
• Solar collectors for the high school—to power lights, fans, and computers
• Trade school for Leogane
Next, join us in praying in thanksgiving for all of our blessings! We are thankful for you, our benefactors, who partner with Educate Haiti to provide 50% of the operating budget for grades Pre-K through 13 in Durissy.
